A. Hugh Oakes – Managing Director
Founding Member and Managing Director
Drawing from over 20 years of industry experience, Oakes provides clients with valuable expertise in the areas of UC enabled business processes, IT management best practices and program management. Oakes’ core competencies allow clients to successfully bring to completion complex projects that leverage cutting edge technologies to solve issues facing today’s business leaders.
Prior to founding T2M in October 2001, Oakes has a history of technology and business innovation. As General Manager of the Qwest Apptimum Application Infrastructure Program (a joint venture between Microsoft and Qwest Communications), he is credited with the ideation and implementation of one of the industry’s most progressive SaaS programs. His strategic guidance of the Apptimum Program resulted in many industry leading activities. Oakes directed the development of an industry leading Microsoft Standard Operating Environment (ITIL verified environment) for the delivery of software as a service, and also directed the development of a billing and operational support system (“OSS”) which enabled the Qwest Apptimum infrastructure to provision software applications to clients in a real-time, no-touch process. Prior to Qwest, Oakes rolled out GTE’s Asynchronous Transfer Mode networking service and participated on the core team developing GTE’s strategic data initiative, resulting in the acquisition of a global fiber network and BBN Corp., an internet service provider company.
Oakes has developed T2M’s UC practice from the ground up, receiving Microsoft’s partner of the year award in 2011. Oakes believes that UC is a game changer for business since it changes how businesses operate, how systems integrate and how IT organizations must be organized. For these reasons, T2M has developed a solutions practice that extends beyond simply installing technology to creating differential deployments that result in a loyal following of customers. T2M’s UC practice extends to include business process improvement and IT operational best practices. Oakes’ years of experience with these technologies have provided him with unique insights on how to get the most out of today’s information systems.
Oakes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from St. John Fisher College. Oakes lives in Denver, Colorado.
Vice President Sales
Wright is Senior Partner and Vice President responsible for nationwide sales and marketing. Wright’s exemplary relationship management skills, leadership and industry experience are the catalyst to creating brand awareness and market expansion of the Time2Market footprint. His ability to cultivate partnerships and build a customer centric team is evident in multiple Microsoft Voice Partner of the Year awards.
Wright has more than 30 years of global sales, marketing, customer care services and general management experience. Wright’s business philosophy resonates with his team and peers, “Our proficiency matching Time2Market’s unique unified communication solutions with customers’ strategic communication needs creates a culture of customer satisfaction and success.”
Prior to Time2Market, Wright spent over 20 years with Verizon in various executive leadership roles. Most recently, as Regional Sales Vice President with Verizon Business managing a global sales team focused on fostering key client relationships for Verizon’s Fortune 100 Enterprise accounts. As Director of CPE Product Management, Wright developed and strengthened partnerships with strategic hardware manufacturers including, Avaya, Cisco, Nortel and Siemens as well as administering the CPE maintenance programs.
During his free time, Wright is dedicated to civic and philanthropic roles as Chairman of the Board for Qualtrust Federal Credit Union, a founding board member of the Auggie Memorial Classic and active alumnus at Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science. Wright, a Texas native, is a passionate outdoorsman and conservationist who enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.
Director of Marketing
Whisler is Director of Marketing responsible for Marketing and Sales Operations. Whisler complements the Time2Market leadership team offering a vast skill set and broad flexibility within his role. His polished communication skills provide an innate ability to communicate technical concepts and deliver the Time2Market value proposition to cross-functional customer teams. Years of experience as a sales executive, allow Whisler to mentor and influence the sales organization through supporting the company mission and acquiring a loyal customer base. His analytical skills, organizational management background and industry expertise are critical assets in overseeing Marketing and Sales Operations.
Whisler’s extensive career in the technology industry included over a decade with Verizon. The dynamic nature of telecommunications afforded him the opportunity to work in various positions such as front line selling, sales team management, channel support and sales operations roles. Previously, he served as Sr. Executive and Co-Founder of a Colorado based information technology company.
A University of Colorado at Boulder graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Science, Business, Whisler is a university enthusiast and proud father of a third-generation Buffalo. He and his wife are parents to five young adults and treasure their time together.
Director of Cloud Operations
Hawkins is Director of Cloud Operations providing day-to-day management of T2M Cloud Services. Hawkins planning and oversight responsibilities include facilitating daily area functions, T2M Cloud Complete service provisioning, T2M Day2 operational management, and consistent customer interface. Hawkins’ achievements and on-going education in the area of ITIL certification help shape and develop processes that deliver Time2Market customers best practice operational experiences. Hawkins is constantly working to integrate new tools, fresh ideas, and better methodologies into the operational realm, that allow T2M customers to realize ever greater value from the T2M Cloud Services portfolio.
A graduate of Iowa State University Hawkins earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. His career includes time at Microsoft and other respected service providers. Hawkins has regularly taken on greater responsibilities with each new assignment. His broad exposure to Microsoft UC stack functions include roles in engineering, project management, and operations support.
Hawkins is active in his free time with a young, growing family and a love of the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” outdoors.
